"Bathroom paint & trim we not done with quality. The toilet ran all the time because the tank flappper didn’t seal. We told the maintenance man in our way out. The building is definitely older, and looks like it has gone through some updating. It was ok, but because the value vs what we paid was very good, there. Is no sense bashing the place. Would I stay again. I probably would "

"Wonderful restored apartment building from 1920s, mostly original elegant woodwork. Some rooms still with much or all original features - such as a cast iron clawfoot tub in our room (Dahlia), also an old treadle sewing machine converted to a side table. Very generous and helpful staff, including breakfast chef who made a hearty breakfast each day. Great location ~7 blocks walk from historic district. Only minor drawbacks - slightly worn linens, bed so-so, curtains not light-blocking at least in our room."

"The staff friendly. They are in midst of remodeling / painting. My room had fresh paint, smell was lingering. Elevator was slow. My door handle wasn't function properly."

"Staff was very friendly! Location was great with free parking. Unfortunately, the room cleanliness was less than satisfactory with hair in the tub drain and garbage in the cans. The breakfast was very slim."
