"We were just in town one night to attend a funeral the next day. We stay at Country Inns quite a bit. The room was fine as far as clean and comfortable, but when we got ready for bed and turned off the tv, we could hear the person in the next room snoring. Have never had that experience before. I think the headboards were both against the same wall. Not the hotel’s fault, but I guess the walls are thinner than usual. We ended up running the fan all night to cover the sound! Breakfast was great...

"Pleasantly surprised. Although it very talkative or friendly, the front desk agent was professional and quick. The hallways were spotless and the room was comfortable and clean. The bathtub could use a good scrubbing down. Kinda grimey. Breakfast was decent. I will gladly return. "

"Hotel right across the street from the Old Kentucky Home State Park. It was a 0.5 mile walk from the center of Bardstown in a quiet area. It is not fancy. The manager is very friendly and helpful. It is close to many distilleries. It is reasonably priced."
