Beautiful Waterfront Home on Watauga River

Brand new to VRBO June 1st 2023. Gorgeous and completely remodeled waterfront home on the beautiful Watauga River. The house was completely remodeled in 2023 with all new windows, life proof flooring, granite countertops, appliances, new black metal roof, new interior and exterior paint, new composite front door, new lights and fans, landscaping, etc. This is a $500K immaculate home right on the river. You might stay somewhere cheaper but you will not stay anywhere nicer in this area. Please look at our cabin VRBO #2196043 if you need something smaller yet just as beautiful, its really made for 2 people but will sleep 4 if needed.

The house includes a brand new 12' x 12' Trex river dock with stainless steel cables for railing, so as not to diminish the river views. There is also a brand new private boat ramp for those coming in to fish or kayak. Excellent place for a large group or a small group and all the comforts of home. The river deck and mountain deck will be furnished with furniture (not pictured yet), and a grill on the mountain deck. You can fish nearly 300 feet of the river along the property bank. In the summer months you will see lots of rafters, kayaks, and drift boats going by. The house is located on the main road to Wilbur Dam, and is 3 miles downstream from the dam, and not in a floodplain. The back yard has a large chainlink fence for your pets containment and safety, with direct access from the french doors off of the mountain deck.

From the front of the house all you see is the beautiful river flowing by, from the sides of the house and back all you see is the beautiful Holston Mountain Range. The house has brand new appliances, furniture, mattresses, etc. Incredible entertainment package with Direct TV and a 75" Ultra 4K Samsung in the den and a 65" Samsung Ultra 4k in the primary bedroom. Bose wave radio. Front load washer and dryer for long stays. The front porch will have rocking chairs. More pictures to come. Book now for your next getaway in a spectacular setting. Excellent property!
My wife and our group of friends stayed in this property for the weekend to watch the Bristol night race. The house is in excellent condition, very clean and in a beautiful location. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Relaxing fishing vacation
My wife and I came up the Watauga to relax and for me to trout fish. The house was extremely comfortable and well furnished. The mornings on the front porch looking at the river and drinking coffee were only rivaled by peaceful afternoons on the back porch looking at the mountains. The king size master bed was comfortable and we slept well. The river was loaded with hard fighting trout. We had a great time

Great Place
Spent a few days at this great place while in the great state of Tennessee attending a celebration of life for my father at his house in Blountville. The house was nice had everything we needed, loved having the river right there to fish. We enjoyed our stay and will be back since the fishing was very good and there's lots that we wanted to explore unfortunately didn't have the time to do so this trip.

Home Away From Home
This place has everything you want and more. Comfortable beds, clean, cozy, homey high end atmosphere and fishing for my husband. Who caught some trout in our short visit and managed to miss the "Big One" that spit out the lure. We stayed there while visiting family in Bristol and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook or entertain a small gathering. The property manager is just awesome and willing to answer any question you may have right away. He truly furnished this home with top of the line appliances and furniture. What you see in the pictures is what you get plus even more. Rent this home with confidence. Highly recommended.

60th birthday in the mountains
We had a wonderful time celebrating my 60th in this beautiful area. Loved the location and easy to get to Wautaga lake, wineries, Johnson city and quaint Elizabethton. The house was clean, great comfortable mattresses and no problem locating anything in the fully stocked kitchen. It was perfect. We loved the dock across the street and a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the wildlife on the river.

Great home!
This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. It was very clean on check-in, the check-in/check-out were super quick and easy, everything was as expected, the owner is very responsive and friendly (even going as far as sharing some fishing advice), and the location is perfect! We had a great, albeit short, stay in which we did a ton of fishing at the property and several places nearby, spent some time in town, and explored some beautiful scenery. Overall great property and owner!

The house and area are beautiful! Everything’s just as described and pictured. House is clean, comfortable and has anything you may need for your stay. We had 4 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. The fenced back yard is a huge plus if traveling with dogs so we really appreciated having that. The private dock across the street was wonderful too. The road is a bit busy but nothing that takes away from the great place! Mike was a great host and full of local information. You won’t regret booking this place!

The house is very pretty and comfortable, Loved the fenced yard for the dogs and location was perfect for us as we could navigate the area easily, The view from to the river is so pretty, got to see a Heron, a deer getting to the bank up to his Belly to eat Algae! The house is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Home is close (20 to 25 min drive) to ETSU and given we were there for a graduation it was really convenient. We were extremely busy so did not get to do a lot in the area but there appeared to be a lot to do.

Very exceptional VRBO east of Elizabethton. Every detail of this home is modern and inviting. The host is very engaged in making sure our stay was comfortable and worry free. We weren't able to take advantage of the many outdoor amenaties because of the weather. Maybe next time!
