"A very unique Inn that whisks you back to Victorian times in Scotland. The inn is located only a block away from the waterfront with its museum, eateries and the history of the first Scottish peoples landing in Nova Scotia. Sandy and Cathy are wonderful hosts. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. If you are looking for a place to stay that is a little different in a nice way, The Scotsman Inn is the place to stay"

"This was a very nice, clean.... room? More of a B&B, but without that second B! Just a room. There was a note about a kitchen with a "Continental" breakfast. Picture showed cereal. But we left early and I couldn't find the kitchen! Everything about the room was great, tho. Except, no closet. Even so, I would recommend."

"We had a great stay! The chalet was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. We got one of the biggest chalets on the property, which was great for our group. We didn’t get much time to explore the property, so we’d love to come back and stay a bit longer next time. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit unstable. Other than that, everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed at Mark's place the 1st of September for 4 nights. First night we enjoyed the amazing patio and views and then a storm rolled in. The wind was so strong it blew the patio furniture from the side of the house to the back of the house. The power went out but the generator started within minutes. It was so quiet we thought it was the power that was back on. The wind and rain kept us inside with books and games. It was really warm and cozy. In between waves of the storm hitting us we were able to venture out for nice walks. The nearby beaches and rocks were an amazing morning walk. A bit of a drive to get anywhere but you can expect that anywhere in Nova Scotia. I would recommend you pick up all of your groceries on your way to the cottage as it is a bit of a drive back. There are a lot of "hand me downs" in way of kitchenware but it all worked. Not much in the way of wine glasses, drinking glasses and coffee mugs so we picked some up at the dollar store. All the beds were comfortable and the showers were amazing. Place was so clean and inviting. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it."

"Love this cozy cottage and its beautiful location right on the ocean which is why we keep coming back. It’s always neat and clean, the kitchen has everything you need, it’s a short 20 minute drive to town for groceries, and the property managers, Cathie and BJ, are so lovely and welcoming."
