"The lobby was decorated beautifully, and the hotel had a lot of character. We appreciated the location, and how close the stores and restaurants were to the hotel. Parking was open and accessible, and there was a mini fridge in the room which was very convenient.
The front desk staff for most part was very distasteful. God forbid you need help, they will give you the most awful, dismissive attitude which will ruin a good mood pretty quickly.
While we appreciated the free breakfast, there was a small mundane selection that wasn’t too exciting.
The rooms were pretty clean, and you could smell the bleach walking in; which was comforting to us. However, the sheets had nasty looking stains which were a turn off. There was a coffee maker in the room, but no microwave which we found odd. Additionally, we couldn’t take a shower comfortably, because there was no shower liner and water would get everywhere.
Overall, we appreciated the stay especially for the prices they offered."
"Great location. We appreciate it outside access directly to room. Parking available on site around the corner in the garage was great. We got one of the last spots however. Bar next door was fine. Right in the main historic district so everything within walking distance. Didn't try attached restaurant due to so many other places available. Staff and housekeeping were friendly an accommodating. Very clean. Minor gripe was I had to unplug the TV HDMI multiple times because of freezing up to reset it. Also was not aware of $30 a day resort fee for amenities which include parking and housekeeping according to the front desk. I don't view housekeeping as an amenity. Otherwise great stay and would definitely return."
"Had to be moved to a different room on the first night because of air conditioning reasons, but the staff was prompt and helpful and I deeply appreciated how expeditiously they made moves for us. Location is excellent and overall the hotel was a good stay for the money. The exterior could be kept up a little bit better (the front part of hotel was great and the inside of my room was clean. It was a bit noisey early morning (other hotel goers). Overall, I’d stay there again."
