"100000% recommend! We had the most remarkable honeymoon at Suitree. Fly in to Liberia and they will pick you up and it’s about a half hour drive to the remote location. The treehouse suites are incredible with 360 views of the dry forest with a wrap around balcony. It is the perfect place for relaxation, quiet, and nature and the rooms are spotless clean and everything feels so new. What made the experience even more wonderful was the staff and the incredible food. The staff made our stay so lovely and found every opportunity to create special moments for us each step of the way. We felt so cared for. They even put together a honeymoon surprise dinner for us which was the greatest gift. The food was very delicious from breakfast, lunch, dinner. The menu is very dietary friendly with options for vegans, gluten free and more. The selection of cocktails, wines, and juices were outstanding. It is very kid friendly while at the same time is very romantic, calming, and intimate. We took part in several cooking classes with the chef, and went on several excursions including a fantastic jungle boat tour and tasty apiary tour. We also got couples massages in our suite. Food and excursions were good values and seemed affordable for what you received. Thank you to Giovanni, Brandon, Carlos, Johnny, Josue, Greys, Paulo, Alonso, Thomas, and Marilyn. We will always remember how special this trip was and recommend it for couples, families, groups, and friends looking for a perfect getaw"

"Our stay at Hotel Villa del Sueño was absolutely lovely. It’s a beautiful, quaint hotel with charming South American décor and a warm, romantic ambiance — definitely ideal for couples. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were terrific, and many spoke English, which made everything seamless. The restaurant service was top-notch and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner with live music and dancing that made the evening feel truly special. A unique touch was the small jewelry display at the front desk — one of the owners actually drove over when she heard we were looking, just to share the story behind her pieces. We couldn’t resist and happily took a few home with us. The pool was clean and well kept (even though we didn’t use it much since we arrived late), and the location is fantastic — walkable to shopping and just five minutes from a beautiful beach. We wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"Our stay at Finca Brisas de la Montaña was completely unexpected and absolutely unforgettable. We were supposed to leave Costa Rica on January 24th, but a snowstorm in New York delayed our flight home. After scrambling for last-minute accommodations, we found this place and honestly didn’t know what to expect — especially given the rural location. From the moment we arrived, Diana changed everything. She is an absolute gem. Despite our last-minute booking, she quickly prepared a beautiful, unique glamping-style space with modern amenities, a gorgeous shower, an incredibly comfortable bed, and a perfectly equipped kitchen. What truly stood out, though, was Diana herself. She welcomed us not just into her property, but into her heart. She gave us a tour of the stunning 98-acre horse ranch and even arranged a horseback ride up the mountain for us. What started as a stressful delay became one of the most special parts of our two-week trip. We couldn’t have been luckier — and we hope to return the hospitality to her one day in New York."
