"The staff and facility were both fantastic. They exceeded all of are needs and desires. From our greeting when we arrived to our farewell actually out front. Both Francisco and Michelle came out to bid us a farewell. Francisco even assisted us in the parking which was somewhat tight spaces. Also we really enjoyed the food.both dinner and breakfast were delicious and attractively prepared. It was just a wonderful experience for our group of four"

"This property is the perfect get away to beautiful Costa Rica. The location of the hotel and the views are amazing. The staff were tremendously helpful, courteous and a joy to be around. "The home is just beautiful, exactly as pictured and we had a wonderful time. The concierge met us at the home to help us settle in, provided us with immigration letters and great recommendations for activities and a fantastic chef /caterer that we scheduled to prepare us dinner for our wedding anniversary. It was magical.The location was more difficult to get to than we had anticipated, it was over a mile off road and even with a 4x4, it was nerve racking driving up the hill especially in the dark after the few times we went out for dinner. An ATV would have been a better option but we had traveled from San Jose so we could stay at other locations during our trip. However just down the hill from the house was a spectacular waterfall. One other thing we weren’t expecting but were told upon arrival is the likelihood of losing power which happened a few times, however the home has solar panels so a lot of things like lights, fridge etc are still working fine. Lots of easy day excursions and beach options. Would highly recommend to anyone. "

"⸻Villa Lucia – Ojo, Costa RicaI had the most incredible stay at Villa Lucia in Ojo, Costa Rica. The home itself is stunning, with glass doors everywhere that truly bring the outside in — I felt surrounded by the jungle even while indoors. Every day I woke up to the sounds of monkeys and an amazing variety of birds, all set against the backdrop of lush, vibrant flora.The management was exceptional — attentive to every detail and making me feel like a true VIP. The amenities were completely five-star: a huge TV with Netflix for all my shows, comfortable beds, amazing showers, and spotless spaces throughout. Even the drive up to the villa was beautiful, adding to the experience from the moment I arrived. It was a twenty minute drive from the most beautiful waterfall I've ever seen- El Pavon. I went there almost every day and there was never anybody there so I had the whole swimming pool beneath the waterfall to myself. There are world class, restaurants at the bottom of the mountain. I highly recommend Potz Bistro and Momento - the sushi place . It's right next to Botanica so stop in there and get your fill of lotions and potions.. I bought the most divine OUD and sent sticks that were imported from Bali.. I can't begin to tell you how nice Peter the owner and the management company was to me. They even sent someone over to fix my flat tire.. If you’re looking for a luxurious, nature-immersed stay with top-notch service, Villa Lucia is top notch perfection . "

"The weather was perfect. We were here for 9 weeks. House is quiet, pool is perfect, weather was spectacular. We were visited by humming birds, toucans, parrots, howler monkeys and coati’s.The drive does require a 4x4…. Typical Costa Rican mountain road.Host and concierge were excellent and responded to any inquiries we had. 5* all the way"

"Owner canceled our stay the night before our stay due to flood damage at the house. I booked the stay 2 months in advance and the owner still failed to let us know that the house wasn't available. We had activities booked (hiking fishing horseback riding) that we had to cancel because we couldn't find accommodation for our group on such short notice. Basicall ruined the second half of our vacation."
