The best time to visit El Madroñal is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months, when the weather is pleasantly warm and the crowds are smaller.

Spring in El Madroñal brings average temperatures of 20-25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking in the surrounding Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park or exploring the nearby coastal towns. The countryside is lush and green, and the air is fresh. This period is particularly suitable for couples looking for a romantic escape with opportunities for scenic drives and leisurely lunches on sun-drenched terraces.

Autumn offers similar comfortable temperatures, usually between 22-28°C, and the sea remains warm enough for swimming until late October. This season is superb for those who enjoy a more relaxed pace, perhaps spending afternoons by the pool or enjoying a round of golf at one of the nearby courses. Families might find this time appealing as the summer rush has subsided, making popular attractions less crowded and more enjoyable for children.

While summer (June to August) is popular for beach holidays, temperatures can soar above 30°C, and the area, especially the coastal strip, can be very busy.
