"Small boutique hotel with polite staff. Breakfast was made to order scrambled eggs, but had buffet style deli cold cuts and cheese, fresh fruits, assorted pastries and bread. Hotel is walking distance from Main Street and the starting points of several of the main hikes. Only flaw there’s no central AC unit so the room gets warm "

"The staff at pioneros del valle are sooo nice and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable with lots of inviting spaces inside and outside to relax. The private rooms are the way to go with breakfast included. Make reservations early because they fill up fast. We ended up changing plans and I can’t emphasize enough how sweet and patient the staff were in helping us find another night with a private room. We ended up staying a third night in the shared rooms which are definitely a different experience. Very clean and reasonably priced with a bathroom in each room and full access to the kitchen and cozy areas but we are older and this was outside our comfort zone. They let us leave our packs for free before and after while we waited to check in and for our bus departure. "

"The hostel was very chill, which was nice, but it would have been good to have more social things. Staff always cleaning. 24hr restaurant was helpful. Kitchen did not have any bowls, so we ate cereal from saucepans everyday haha. "
