The pool and beach were perfect, plus the resort dogs were a true treat!"

"Heise (sp?) and Lattika were the perfect hosts. Lattika made sure that everything we needed was taken care of . She was also very knowledgable about the various native animals who live in the neighborhood (how she could spot sloths is a mystery to me ). Breakfast was amazing ! "

"From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with warm smiles and salutations, and throughout our stay it remained the same. Alan and his wife (the chef), Ariel, Alan’s brother and Andre and Patricia ( another chef) provided us with a rich history of the area and delicious meals. We slept like babies each night in the spacious lodging provided for us. The mountaintop views are breathtaking and taking a dip in the private waterfall was so refreshing! We totally enjoyed our stay!"

"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

"This was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Giselle and the team at esquipulas took wonderful care of us. We got some amazing birding pictures, saw the feeding of the king vulture and loved every moment of our tipi experience. And the food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back"

"Nice hotel. Nothing fancy but the room had a mini kitchen and a big bathroom. The best best thing about this property is its right on the beach. Id definitely stay here again. Cost vs amenities you cant beat it."
