The comparison quality for the price is high.Its a very nice spot with a magnific view . Beautiful rooms , comfortable beds. Nice people for the staff . The service was very good.

The rooms are very clean, nice ocean view from your room (if you pick one) good breakfast, great ocean view from the restaurant, excellent customer services, it would be great if they provided golf carts to take you to the beach dowm the hill, beach near to the hotel is very nice l, peaceful but a little bit challenging to get to it

This property is absolutely amazing. But the staff truly made it. Highly recommend coming here for the views from the pool decks. Amazing 360• views! And Angelo truly made the experience. A amazing cocktails, drinks and the food was great as well! Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful view. Plenty of monkeys and iguanas right in our balcony. Area renovated was really nice. Bedrooms were beautiful. Unfortunately, we stayed in the old part. Everything falling apart. Like a prison dungeon. Safe was not working. They tried to fix but at the end they changed our room... Hope they renovate to the same standards as the new part to become a very nice hotel.

Beware - check hotel status

The good: the staff was friendly and helpful. The bad: it felt like staying in a construction site instead of a hotel. The hotel is going through major renovations. It is dirty all over and debris in some areas. Pool is closed and hot tab dismantled. Water leaking in the balcony and a lot of noise, water leaking and wet floor in the lobby, broken ceiling with construction equipment in the lobby. Basic breakfast is missing items on the short menu, and for any other food/meal we have been sent to a nearby hotel. We didn't know about the place status. The real status is far from the nice photos and amenities and the booking site.

This hotel was one that we probably shouldn’t have booked… we were skeptical that it was in transition of ownership and seemed to have 2 names and 2 different websites. We were not given the room style that we booked. We were given a smaller space with less beds. We had construction next to us. A discarded toilet on the balcony was our first view when we arrived. The shower was filthy, the toilet clogged, the hot water wasn’t turned on in our room. Our last date discovered that we had robbed. 2 sets of AirPod pros were stolen from our room. Later discovered to be at an address of someone working construction at the hotel. Pool was not available and we were never informed that this would be an issue.

We were not put into the room that we saw advertised online - be prepared for that and message the hotel before you book to make sure what you see is what you’re getting. It’s currently under renovation and certain rooms are much nicer than others. About 3/4 of the hotel seems to be renovated and is very nice. We were put into the 1/4 that is still yet to be renovated, and it showed. Dark hallways to the rooms only lit by motion lights, the smell of wet paint and paint stains were in the hallways, and drywall dust was still visible. For about $350 a night CAN we did not expect this. Room itself wasn’t terrible, had what you needed. But for the price, we were not happy. After 1 night of our 4 night stay, we asked to be switched into the room displayed online, and luckily they were available. The staff were very helpful and understanding with this. After this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool and lounge area with the ocean view on the roof is very nice! Included breakfast is always a plus. The food and drink menu the rest of the day was all excellent. One other more minor complaint is that parking is very tricky in this location. They have a very small parking lot that doesn’t accommodate the amount of guests in the hotel. It’s a space issue and not much the hotel can do about that, but we had to park on the street a couple of times. I would stay here again if I knew the renovations were complete and was getting what I paid for the second time.

Hidden gem. Wish I knew about this place before. I will be back for sure. The room was amazing and had one of the best views ever. Service was excellent and the food was good. Pool area was very quiet and tranquil. Made me very relaxed and at home. Best value in the area by far.

We booked the Superior Room with an ocean view, but when we checked in, we were given one of the oldest, non-renovated rooms. It technically had an ocean view, but it mostly looked out over the hotel’s parking lot. The bathroom also had some mold. We asked to switch rooms and thankfully the staff was able to move us to another room with an ocean view, and in a little better condition than the first one. It felt like the hotel is in the middle of renovations, and honestly, parts of it seemed like they shouldn’t be open to guests right now. That said, the views are beautiful, and the beach is only a 10-minute walk away though keep in mind it’s uphill coming back. We liked the location and the scenery, but the hotel itself could use some serious updates.
