The staff were excellent. They very friendly and helpful. And as a bonus, the Hostal gave me a free room upgrade which was fantastic. The breakfast was decent. Eggs, fruit, bread, cereal etc. The kitchen needed a bit of an update but it was adequate.

Love this place, the staff is so nice and helpful! They explained where we cound eat, go out for drinks, even helped us to buy the tickets for the Glacier Perito Moreno. The place is very cosy and pretty and just two blocks away form the main avenue of Calafate.

The best hostel I have stayed during my trip in Patagonia. The accomodation but also the stuff is beyond the expectations, they gave me such good tips and local insights. If I will come back in the region I would definitely book there again!

Beautiful space! The staff were very helpful and pointed us towards several delicious restaurants and gave us suggestions for activities. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Our only complaint is that the walls were a little thin so you could hear road noise and conversations in other rooms, but nothing a little white noise wouldn't fix.

A great base for el calafate

Really friendly staff that speak good English. They were very helpful in setting up tours and transport and offered better prices than surrounding agencies. Shower was a bit temperamental but all in all great value and good location.

Bathroom was poorley clenaed, it has a lot of hairs on the floor which was disgfusting. Some of the staff were really friendly and some really unfriendly. but overal it was a good place to stay.
