"The place is great overall! It's quiet and within walking distance to the main street with all the restaurants and shops (15 mins max). The four mile beach is less than a 10-min walk which is nice. The marina where all the GBR boats leave from is about a 15-min walk which is again not bad. The room is clean and tidy and the kitchen is a nice addition. The pool was always empty when I stayed here. I'm usually picky with hotel bathrooms because it's very easy for mould to grow at the corners...

"I had a fabulous time at Regal, Port Douglas. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was exceptional.The only small feedback I would give would be that the spa was challenging to get in and out of as it was quite high and I'm very short so had to be careful.There's also a gap in between where the blinds meet so was a bit self concious that other guests would be able to see me taking a shower but other than that I wouldn't hesitate in coming back to Regal, Port Douglas."
