"Older Hotel that's always clean and comfortable. some maintenance required but for the price that should be expected. Great value and I use it anytime I'm staying downtown Edmonton."

"I’ve learned my lesson to read reviews and do some research. This hotel is very dated and not well maintained. The rooms are small, double beds, mattresses and pillows uncomfortable, bathroom very worn out in every way. The hotel is pet friendly but the whole place smells like dog plus cigarettes plus Febreeze. The front entrance is litter with garbage and cigarette butts. The second night we were there was a Friday and we were woken up three times but loud commotion in the hall, the third a prolonged screaming and banging that resulted in another guest calling 911. Do not stay here if you have any other safe options. "

"The main area of the room (9th floor) was spacious but the bathroom is tiny! Elevators were packed at check-in/check-out times (allow for at least a 10 minute wait."

"The reason we stayed at the hotel was to use the pool for my children. Unfortunately when we checked in. The pool wasn’t working and the staff asked us to use the next door hotel pool. We didn’t want to do that. It meant going outside and walking outside with wet hair. Unfortunately not a good idea with it being winter. That’s the only downside of staying at the pool. We travelled 2 hours away for a mini gateway. Was pretty disappointing not having a pool. "
