"The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. "The staff are most pleasant and very sweet. They were so nice and are very hardworking. We appreciated all their efforts! There was a great hot waffle maker and the hot showers were amazing! My only suggestion would be to put non slip strips on the tub to prevent slips/falls. Overall good trip to Kentucky."

"Room and staff were excellent. Only complaint was breakfast. I came down at 7:30am, so an hour in, and several items were not readily available. Forks, milk, jelly (other than grape), and coffee . The gravy was not attractive (I didn’t try it). The staff re-supplied (except milk) once informed of the lack. Anticipated a better breakfast experience. Overall, still 4 out of 5."

"We were looking for a quiet place to spend a few days while in the area. Boy did we pick the right place. Off the beaten path in rural Kentucky. The place was very well kept and spotless. That is saying a lot for any place but especially on a farm. The owners were awesome answered all our questions right away that we had prior to our arrival. The check in and out could not be simpler. They recommended a local restaurant the lighthouse and it didn’t disappoint the fried catfish was amazing. My wife loves animals and couldn’t resist the opportunity to help with feeding the animals our first morning there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. My problem now after our stay my wife wants to buy a small farm and move to Kentucky."
