Fun Fact: Hollywood Actor, Ed Harris, starred in the movie Radio in 2003. The movie was filmed in Walterboro, SC and he played the role of Coach Jones, the head football coach. While working on the film, Mr. Harris stayed on Edisto. After looking at several homes, he settled on the Alvarez house for his "home away from home."

We had the best time at Alvarez House!We ate in every night because the kitchen was well stocked and loads of room for family style cooking.The layout of the living area was perfect for socializing and catching up with family.Everyone loved the views from their rooms and we spent quality time on the deck .We plan on coming back next year!

Perfect Getaway

This house is beautiful with lots of room for a relaxing week. There were plenty of rockers on the porch to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. I was looking for a place close to the beach and this property fit that bill! I was pleased with how clean the house was and the kitchen was well stocked. There is no elevator and lots of steps but two bedrooms with full baths on the main level helped accommodate all of our family. We rented linens and beach umbrellas from Edisto Essentials which made packing much easier. I would definitely recommend this property and will hopefully be back next year!
