We loved our stay here. It was close to the city center and had a bus stop right out front that made it easy to get anywhere we needed. Several shops and food options near by. Vivienne was amazing and was great with giving us suggestions and recommendations for places to go and things to do. Breakfast was offered in the morning it was great. Welcome stay in a well located B&B.

A fabulous stay in this lovely B&B. The host was warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Was happy to help with buses, places to visit and eat. Location was great for exploring Edinburgh.

Two wonderful days in Edinburgh

We enjoyed our stay at Sherwood Guest House a lot. The room is a bit small, but really comfortable with a cooker and free tea and coffee. There's also a microwave, which we didn't use, but anyway great. Vivienne is an extremely kind, open minded and helpful host. The breakfast was also very, very good. There's a super bus connection right outside the house.We can do nothing but highly recommend Sherwood Guest House.

This is a beautiful guest house well driven by Vivienne, her nice owner :) Hurry to book your visit of the Castle ... additionnally, Holyrood Palace is also a must see. Take Lothian day tickets. On our side, we used the Moon app. to have a taxi to and from the airport.

I cannot say enough nice things about Vivienne and her wonderful guest house. The bedrooms are terrific, as are the breakfasts and the hospitality. You'll want for nothing -- she's already considered what you need. There's a reason this place has such high marks -- Vivienne. We had an issue that required a lot of special attention, and she was brilliant. She's running a first-class establishment, and she is hard-wired to be a guest house owner. Plus, you won't meet a friendlier human. Everything about Sherwood Guest House has it on our list of places we will stay again. Thank you, Vivienne!
