Good location. Rooms are cute but very small . No space for suitcases and no closet. If you are lucky your room will be in the main floor. No lobby or staff in the property just a lock box.

We enjoyed our stay so much and definitely would stay again! Absolutely the perfect location, but the only bad thing was there was no fridge in room and ice maker is really small for amount of guest rooms. We stayed in the Grosvenor room and Absolutely loved it but did have one night where kids decided to hang out in front of our window and were very loud. Would highly recommend!!!!

I only stayed here one night but I thought it was a really lovely room. Located near many of the interesting sites of Edinburgh. Very clean and comfortable room. I wish I had stayed here one or two more nights but journey took me elsewhere.

It was very clean, great location, rooms are small but efficient use of the space. The staircase is difficult to carry suitcases on. The beds are very comfy, The staff are excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

Place was very clean, updated with high quality linen, towels, complimentary coffee/ tea and other finishes. Great location in a nice neighbourhood and easy to get to main attractions in the city. My main reservation is the very tight space the room itself (Walker) and the washroom. This was small even for European standards and I expected a bit more space for the price point.

I was on the 1st floor (one flight up). My room was large, lovely, and clean. Staff cleans and stocks rooms daily. The location was central but quiet. The stairs are plenty, so if mobility issues beware.

Lovely converted townhouse, just off Shandwick Place, in the west end of Edinburgh. This was the first time I'd stayed in a self check-in property. All the instructions I received were clear and easy to follow. I stayed in the Coates room which was downstairs. The room itself was lovely. The fixtures and fittings were high spec. There were lovely towelling bathrobes, a GHD hairdryer, a steamer and also a coffee machine and kettle and a good assortment on the beverage tray. My en-suite bathroom had a great shower and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were branded for the hotel and smelt great. The bed was really comfortable and I slept really well. The blackout blind and Roman blind ensured the room was dark enough and no light crept in. The little glass jar of Scottish tablet was a lovely touch. I would certainly stay here again.

Townhouse was within walking distance of the train station and bus stops. Slightly larger walks to the Royal Mile but doable. Nice shops nearby too. Our room was pretty but a bit small. We stayed in the St. Mary’s. It was a nice stay.

The property was very clean, easy to access, and gave us everything we needed. Great location, quiet area given it’s in the city, and so happy with the property itself. The only negative was the banging doors! Every morning! Initially I thought it was a guest but it was the cleaners - they were letting doors bang closed all the time! Every morning for a couple of hours, it’s all you can hear. Not just the room doors but any door was clearly being left to swing closed with a bang! It was so annoying, in particular during our late checkout, which ended up being pointless as it stopped us from sleeping, and the only way to avoid it is to leave! It left those parts of our stay very unenjoyable so if you expect you’ll want a later start or if you want any peace and quiet in the morning, be warned! Everything else perfect, but this is enough to mean I won’t stay again.
