Chestnut Cottage - a charming traditional stone cottage with 2 bedrooms on Arniston Estate
- Located on the stunning Lime Avenue drive to Arniston House Chestnut Cottage is one of 4 charming stone cottages which housed the foresters for the estate in days gone by. Set in a sunny tranquil courtyard the cottages overlook fields to the north. The cottages also have an area of peaceful garden for visitors' use. A timeless place to relax in the country yet only 30 minutes from the center of Edinburgh with all its attractions. Arniston is an ideal base for families with pets.
Chestnut Cottage has one double or twin bedroom on the ground floor level. Upstairs is a king bedroom next to the family bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The cosy sitting room has an open fire with logs and kindling provided free of charge by the estate woodlands. A Freeview TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi are provided to entertain you during a relaxing break.
Ground floor: Entrance hall, sitting/dining room with open fire. Well equipped kitchen. 1 double or twin bedroom.
First floor: 1 double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over the bath, WC and wash hand basin.
