Apex Grassmarket Hotel
Location is the only thing that is great for this hotel. Need a lot of upgrades and my room wasn’t clean at all. Shower was pathetic.

We book a bedroom without window and the AC wasn’t working (I think they had some issues with that because it was a men trying to fix it - at least that was what the staff told me) so the room was like a sauna. Newly opened restaurant is lovely, beautiful view and nice breakfast. Location of hotel is very central and convenient for walking everywhere. Rooms are smaller and quite basic and could use some attention to a few maintenance type details, but overall a decent spot and an excellent location
