"We had an amazing time. Road trip with the kids. Staff was amazing and gave really good suggestions for our time here! One night here costs more than 3 nights at another hotel we stayed at. (And thats even on one if the cheaper nights) it was beautiful sitting out for the sunset . Otherwise no frills."

"From a picture, we thought we would be closer to the water. There was a little view of it. This would be a great place for families with children in the warmer months, pool, and lots of room to run around or ride bikes. This is an older hotel that has been updated. We wanted to Uber into Bar Harbor but no Ubers were in the area. Luckily we were able to find parking both evenings."

"The studio interior was very nice and just as described. The firepit area and outdoor shower were great amenities, but the hot water did run out on one night when all 3 of us took showers. The kitchen area was more well appointed than we expected. The property as a whole is very peaceful and you can see the stars incredibly well.There were a few shortcomings not mentioned in the listing which prevented us from giving 5 stars. For one, the parking situation is extremely tight and our car got blocked in at certain times. It seemed like more land could be cleared to open up additional parking spots when 4-5 cars are being parked at once on the property (and we only had one car for our group). On the last night, we had to leave very early so parked across the road to ensure we would not be blocked in.Also, there is no sound insulation between the first floor and 2nd floor and there is a bedroom and workshop on the first floor of the barn. This was not mentioned until we were about to check in. We were woken up some mornings by noise on the first floor."

"Our stay was fabulous! The location was great - it was in a quiet area so sitting on the screened in porch or by the fire pit was relaxing with a great view of the stars, but also conveniently located with easy access to both the east and west side of the island. The cottage was well provisioned with everything we needed, and very comfortable. We loved everything about our time here and would absolutely stay here again."

"Very lovely spot to stay a few days to explore the island. The cottage was clean and everything was convenient. Since you have to bring all your food and drink its location was perfect. Overlooking the harbor was the best part of our stay. Will definitely plan to return."
