"The hotel was well kept and clean. The cleaning crew does a good job there. The only thing that didn’t work for me was the distance to most of the tourist sites. The good news however was there is a metro station just 5-10 minutes walk away. From the hotel to Sydney Harbor was 50 minutes to 1 hr & 15 minutes ride via public transportation. If you choose to use them the hotel does provide body wash, shampoo, body lotion, etc. to guests and also carries face towels (I’ve come across more than a few hotels that don’t). The breakfast is decent. It offers scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, and rice/noodles/beans, and yogurt, cereal and juices/water. There is also a bar that serves until 11pm most nights. My room was a decent size for one to two people. I didn’t feel cramped and had room for my belongings. The shower had this two way door that was pretty cool to go with its interesting decor. The wifi worked pretty well too. All in all I enjoyed the hotel, but I wish it was a little closer to many of the sites in Sydney."

"Firstly, we were welcomed warmly by Matthew. Our room was extremely clean, beds comfortable and the shower was hot and beautiful. This motel has a hidden gem (an amazing restaurant) our steaks were absolutely delicious as smooth as butter, outstanding red wines and the restaurant manager Jasmine was so delightful as were all the staff. Ascot Motel offers many wonderful qualities it was a pleasure to stay here. Matthew thank you so much for all your kindness. Congratulations Ascot Motel a hidden gem."

"Simple overnight stay, the staff were very helpful. When I rang after the stay to tell them I had left a jacket behind, the staff went out of their way to find it, which they did and held it until I could get my daughter to collect the jacket. Just brilliant service!"
