"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with espectacular panoramic view through cristal clear glass windows from the presidencial suite six floor. The bathroom was super large and beautifully decorated with brand new shower and white clean towels and bathroom amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet and dinner were delicious offering a variety of excellent food. The location was perfect, within walking distance from Centro Histórico, new and old cathedrals, parque Calderon, Ruinas de Pumapungo, Puente Roto, Barranco, Escalinatas, Río Tomebamba, Planetario, Turi and brand new Mall del Alto with outstanding panoramic view. I strongly recommend this hotel."

"This place is in a beautiful location surrounded by nature; it's a place to rest and relax. The staff are incredibly attentive and always ready to help. The restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast is superb. The rooms or cabins facing the pools are very convenient; we enjoyed them immensely. The beds and cleanliness are very good, although there was a slight dampness in the room and bathroom. Our stay was very pleasant, and I would definitely return. I recommend staying at least two nights to truly enjoy the place."

"IT'S A HOSTAL. I know I know, its listed as a hotel but, it's indeed a hostel. No TVs, no AC, no dressers to put your clothes away. Now...LOCATION is a 10, safety walk to restaurants, bars and the lively downtown area. STAFF 10. Front desk staff were patient and accommodating to the best of their ability. FOOD... 10. No need to go out (of this hostel) for a delicious, made to order Ecuadorian breakfast. The grounds are very pretty and the waterfall view is incredible. I'd recommend this HOSTEL to anyone with a backpack and just needs a bed to sleep."

"Excellent airport hotel - would highly recommend. Staff were amazing from reception to catering and cleaning and room facilities and outdoor pool well maintained. A higher standard than the 5* hotels i experienced in the centre of Quito."

"Staff was friendly. Included breakfast was good. Room was clean. Lunch and dinner was good but expensive. It was noisy at night. Guests laughing speaking loudly, doors opening and closing late, and planes flying very low. Had to wear ear plugs to drown out most of the noise. The grounds were beautiful and the animals were beautiful and entertaining."

"All the food was great and extremely fresh- straight from the garden outside of our room. Service was great, as well as the deep tissue massage at the spa. One thing that could be improved is the number of flies in the eating areas; we were often spending meals swatting them away."
