"Our air-conditioning that night did not work so well, but what do you expect for Europe… An open window and a portable fan that we brought with us worked way better. The most up-to-date information on the Shuttle: it is quite good and it runs every 30 minutes booking can be done completely online as well as payment as it is a third-party service, its is physically just like the city buses in that area. No refrigerators were on-site per staff. However, for those with coolers, ice was readily made available. Especially important for nursing mothers traveling!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful The room was clean and staff came in every day to clean it. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. I am celiac and they provided a basket of different breads for me. The two I was traveling with really enjoyed the fresh breads they offered. Love the coffee machine where you could have different types of coffees. The pool and the sauna were nice to have after a day of touring around. We did not get a chance to use the gym. We were there at Easter time and they had it decorated so nice Easy access to bus lines and then the underground. They had free parking and breakfast which is uncommon in Europe."

"The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood about half a mile walk from the nearest grocery store, restaurant, and subway station that takes you right into the middle of Marienplatz Square. The room was a good size with a somewhat functioning kitchenette that offers a microwave, electric kettle and two burner electric stove, though no pots or pans for cooking. It was nice to have a private patio and the large windows made it seem like an indoor outdoor space which is nice. The issues I had were that the restroom doesn’t really have doors. The shower is half open with a frosted wall on only HALF so you have to shower in a corner of it so that the water doesn’t go everywhere onto the rest of the bathroom and the bedroom. The water closet or toilet also only has half a frosted glass. You can’t enclose it for privacy. So if you value privacy when you shower and use the facilities, this is not for you. The other thing, which may not be exclusive to the hotel, was that there was no smart TV so we were limited to the few channels that only transmitted in German, there was not even an option for captions in another language. If you’re used to watching TV after a long day out, this will be an issue. Housekeeping is only if you ask for it and with a 24 hour notice. The staff was friendly and spoke English. "
