"Highly recommendable. Everything I need was there and it was clean everywhere though I stayed a room without bath, toilet and kitchen. Calm area but easy to go other town such as Port Louis or Curepipe etc,. Train station, boulangerie(napolitaine available!), briyani shop(tooo much for a single touirst!), convenience store nearby. And what I loved most is the host. She warmly welcomed me and took care of me. I miss her :')"

"I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this, but I can say I was not disappointed! Having come from a busy resort on a nearby island, Villa Anakao was definitely more my vibe. The room was incredible. I loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine. The food was also incredible. I truly felt like I was more than just a guest here. I wish I had spent more time here, and would love to come back one day!"

I had issues booking this hotel via Expedia on Christmas Eve. Ended spending hours in the lobby having Expedia redo the booking on my behalf because my original booking did not show on Hennessy park hotel's system. Despite this rough start, the staff at Hennessy was empathetic and accommodating particularly Kath, who was assisting the entire time. So grateful for her being there! This is a beautiful property on the beachfront. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Food plentiful and delicious and nightly entertainment available but alternative eating venue available if a quiet meal wanted. Bus and taxis available and small supermarket and shops in walking distance. Only small difficulty was that they were not terribly familiar with Australian currency so difficult to change money on site and taxi drivers only accepted cash

I went on a business trip and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach and is well secured. The room was very spacious and very clean and it gets cleaned every day. The staff members are very friendly, helpful and available anytime to assist. I fully recommend this hotel as you really get value for money. I also recommend it for families as well. For sure I will book again for my next trip there. Thank you Team for making my trip a very pleasant one.

The Oberoi is a beautiful property with very attentive staff. We stayed 14 nights & I believe the average is 5.I had no idea Turtle bay was so remote when the booking was made & as a result we found ourselves often in taxis usually destined for Grand Bay where we had some great Chinese dinners in a little back lane place recommended by Darmon, Oberoi chef. It was "100% local" accordingly to our taxi driver.Be prepared for an $80 return taxi fare. I cant take anything away from this property...

Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful. The location is great.
