"I hate to give this hotel a great review because then I'll never be able to get in! I love it here. The location is ideal. The staff couldn't be nicer. And it's just a great place to stay. I wish hotel rooms had more hooks, though."

"The breakfast was excellent. Their were many things that need to be fixed. Screen, woodwork, molding in and around the Hotel. Our room needed a good dusting all around ., furniture and woodwork. . Furniture was old and not very comfortable. Beds were too soft. The places is charming but needs an overhaul badly. Staff was excellent. "

"Everything was clean, the staff was great as always, the view is excellent even from the first floor, and the kitchen has just about everything you need. But the property is beginning to show its age and could use a quick and cheap refurbishing on things like furnishings for the doors/closets/etc. The mattresses are old and feel old. The paint is coming off in places. It's just feeling old, is all. We love the place, for the record, and will definitely be back. But we'd like to see it better cared for."

"The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. We stayed in the southern cottage. Our room did not have air-conditioning, but it did have a ceiling fan. The kitchen downstairs was tiny. It had a tiny mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. There was also a tiny mini fridge in the bedroom. You cannot cook a full meal in the kitchen. "

"The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are the size of a monk’s room. King bed took up the entire room. One cell. No curtains, bedside tables, pictures on the walls. Nothing! Had to push the bed in front of the door in order to get in it. At 350 per night, WAY overpriced. We would never go back. Ng "
