"My second time staying here, my travel partner’s first. Rooms were beautiful, very tidy, spotless, quiet. Check in was a breeze, and the staff were friendly, efficient and super helpful. The Keyser Inn has become my favorite spot to stay when I am traveling in the Central Appalachians. Economical prices, 5 star amenities. Really quite lovely."
"Great location in the middle of the town and nearby parks. Hotel and room are well maintained and super clean. The only negative are that there's no breakfast room, so you have to take food back to your room. Also, there's a fridge but no microwave in the room. Easy parking."
"My hubby and I enjoyed our stay at Woodland House at Coolfont--the bed was comfortable and the setting in the woods was a delight. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they dealt with a problem we had right away.
Our servers at the restaurant were very nice, and the lunch we had our first day was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn't as well done (our eggs were overcooked and the bacon was floppy). And at dinner, I ordered a drink from the bar which was so long in coming that I canceled it, still not started, after I had already begun eating my dinner.
