Location, Hot Tub, Dog Friendly, High-Speed Internet & AC Home near Boyne & Schuss Mountains, Torch Lake, Charlevoix, Petoskey, golf courses, and 3 minutes to the sandy beach on Lake Charlevoix! 20 minutes to Lake Michigan and 35 minutes to Torch Lake! Curious how close you are to numerous things to do year-round, go to the bottom of this description for details.
Our home sleeps 11 in bedrooms and 13 total with a pull-out couch. It is a perfect home for multi-family gatherings as it has 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms and a fenced in backyard for the family & your doggies to enjoy!

Upon entering the home, you walk into the living room with a 65” smart TV and an open concept living room, dining room, and a fully stocked kitchen. Our guests' reviews comment how the fully stocked kitchen is the best they have ever rented. The lower level consists of 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 queen + bunk bedroom). The kids bunk bed is a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle so the bunk room can sleep 5 kiddos comfortably. The kid's bedroom closet is full of toys, puzzles, and games to keep your kiddos entertained while on vacation. There is a renovated 1 bedroom (queen), 1 bathroom apartment attached, a perfect in-law suite so the home has 2 kitchens and 2 living room areas. The apartment is located on the main floor of the home so all can come and go easily between the two spaces but there is a door to close off the apartment side for privacy when preferred.

All you need is your family and friends to stay at this house. Excellent clean house with everything you need to enjoy your getaway. I was impressed with the extra towels and sheets provided for your four legged friends. Our teenage kids loved having their own space in the attached apartment area.

We have stayed at dozens of rentals in the past and Laura is the best host we have ever rented from. Not only is she so easy to communicate with, but she truly cares that you and your guests are comfortable and have everything you need. Amazing! My family went up during the holiday and we had an amazing time here. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t in our favor for our ski trip but we made the most of it and it was nice having a clean place to come back to and spend family time together. The house is very spacious and had everything we could think of. Definitely would recommend to other friends and family. We loved our stay here! The hosts were very nice and welcoming!

The house was very clean, lots of space for large family to gather everyone had great bedroom , kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils the host had very nice variety of coffee backyard great for enjoying outdoor , fenced in good for kids and dogs place to play Avalanche bay Boyne Mountain near buy a plus We had a family with seven adults and four kids a few dogs never felt cramped children and adults enjoyed many games the home has great variety we would definitely book this home again . My family and I had a great stay at this home and would definitely recommend it to others. The house was clean, stocked, and exactly what we expected from the pictures. Communication with the owners was great and we were very impressed with the attention to detail the owners had put into the home. All of the cabinets and drawers were clearly labeled. Their check in instructions let us know exactly what the home was stocked with so we were able to shop accordingly on our way to the home. The property is located in a great central location and has a lot to offer for activities. 5 stars for sure.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Vrbo! The home was ideal for our large family, which included both young children and teenagers. It was so well stocked – from the incredible coffee bar (the best I’ve enjoyed at any rental!) to the kids’ room, which had a perfect selection of toys for toddlers and young children. All the beds were comfortable, and everything in the house was so clean, organized, and clearly labeled, making our stay feel effortless. One of my initial concerns was staying in a pet-friendly home, but I was relieved to find you’d never know a dog had ever been there – it was spotless and smelled fresh. The separate in-law suite was perfect for our Au pair and teenage daughter to share, giving them both a bit of space and privacy. The location was also fantastic, and we enjoyed gathering around the amazing dining table each night, as well as relaxing with the Roku TV. Every detail made our family feel right at home, and we look forward to visiting again! Thank you for an outstanding experience.

We were from all over the US attending a family wedding in East Jordan. We did not expect to find a location that would accommodate our extended family and a dog - The Summer - Winterland Retreat exceeded our expectations. We took advantage of both kitchens, all the bedrooms, and common spaces. Our hosts thought of everything; coffee, cookware, dishes, games, and wine glasses (even frozen ones). They took the mystery of finding things out of the equation, it is all labeled! Extra blankets and throws for those cool nights. I cannot say enough about this home.This property is an excellent solution for a family or group of friends. We did have a couple of questions for our hosts, they responded immediately! If we need to be back in the area - this will be our go-to place.

This house is one of the NICEST vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. The owner is wonderful and extremely accommodating. Definitely went ABOVE AND BEYOND in more ways than one! There was a small issue that was NOT at the fault of the owners, but they did everything they possibly could to remedy the issue. And they made themselves available to us late into the evening to ensure everything was fixed. Beautiful home and very welcoming which allowed us to feel at home. The kids and dogs enjoyed the toys provided for each and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The layout and room set up allowed for everyone to be able the have their own space and quietness when needed/wanted. We will definitely look at this property’s availability the next time we are in the area.

The home was very clean both inside and out. Very well stocked with all living essentials. Good location. This home is so much better looking in person than the pictures showed on the VRBO site. Only negative was some trouble with the one side of the refrigerator door. Probably needs some attention. You cannot fix something that you do not know about.
