"Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. "This property is in disrepair and is not being maintained. One part of the floor is sinking and propped by loose boards. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. "

"We had a lovely overnight stay at the Malmaison. There was some confusion about breakfast being included due to booking through Hotels.com but the staff got it sorted for us quickly. Before booking I needed to check that we had interconnecting rooms and the staff member who I spoke to was realy helpful making sure a note was put on our booking. The check in was quick and the rooms were really lovely. We needed different bedding due to a feather allergy and this was given to us quickly. The breakfast was delicious. The view from the restaurant of the marina was very pleasant and we appreciated the terrace where we could sit and enjoy the view. It is a lovely walk around the marina, we visited the RNLI shop which also has kit available for the kids to try on. It is a short walk to the beach from the hotel as well. Parking is convenient on floor 6 of the Marina multistory carpark."
