"Extremely clean, friendly staff and very dog friendly. highly recommend"

"Janaki, our hostess, was very accommodating. She met us at the door and escorted us to our room. She even carried my partner's suitcase for her. She even returned a few minutes later to check on our comfort, as regards the temperature. We both slept quite well. The beds were firm, but not "rock hard". The bedding was perfect, considering the outside temps were in the high 20's. Next morning, we had choices of yogurts (sugar-free, which is rare), pumpkin muffins, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh fruit and a few other goodies down in the "common lounge", where we met 2 couples from Minnesota, who were in CT for the Nutmeg Classic (a Women's Ice Hockey tournament, being hosted by UConn). Their daughters were playing for one of the schools. All-in-all, a very nice experience and a great place to stay! "

"The treehouse was great! It is as pictured, clean, small. The fireplace was connected to the thermostat which I thought was really cool. We got to see the animals on property which was an extra treat. There was a lot of extra spices, oils, water, coffee that we could use. Waking up with the windows all around and then going out on the balcony was so peaceful and nice. The only thing is the compost toilet smelled. We were there for one night and by the next day it smelled even putting the lid down and closing the bathroom door. There is a window we could’ve opened. Im not sure if they clean it out everyday? The area is a little out there but we didn’t mind since we were already driving around. Overall great experience and would stay here again. "
