This place don’t deserve not even a one star rating, they charged me $25 for my service dog and on top of a $50 fee for a stain that was already on my bed but we were stranded due to my car being in the shop and we were out of town. The room was okay until the storm had came, water was leaking from the walls which my finance got on video. I called regarding the $50 fee. The lady tried saying our window was cracked open which wasn’t the case. (We got the video) The front lady’s name was Sara, and some other one who didn’t want to give a name because we’re reporting them to corporate. The front desk lady told my fiancé to kiss her ass, and than when my finance called back to get the other lady’s name she wanted to say “yo mama, yo daddy” very unprofessional. But it’s okay, they won’t be there much longer.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The elevator was not in service and we were not told when we booked it. The ice machine on the first floor was also out of service. The rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, no type of cleaning done until then. No beds made, no trash emptied. If you need more than 2 towels during those 3 days you must get them at the front desk. Sketchy looking people were wandering around outside and it made me feel unsafe. Would not recommend nor will we be staying there again.

The receptionists were very nice with a greeting and smile every time we came/went. There were minimal issues with the room (missing towel hook on bathroom door and light bulb burned out), but it was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the extra sink with the kitchenette made sharing with family easy and stress-free.

The breakfast was a real disappointment. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning there was hardly anything to eat! The front desk lady got up and fixed more after a man and his child came in and found nothing…. We didn’t even try the next morning. There were no vending machines for snacks. The front desk said they were working on it…

From the time of check- in was a red flag. Sign at the desk that someone was there and ring bell. Rang twice and waited 10 minutes and called the hotel where a lady ran to the phone and I said it’s me calling. Evidently she was maid and front desk. Pleasant but dressed in sweats and Tshirt each day we saw her, and I asked to join the rewards club and she had no clue how to do it and evidently new on check in. Stayed 3 nights and card stopped working after two and had to wait since same lady was only staff. Breakfast was good. Hairdryer did not work and asked for another and they had no more. Next day asked again and no one purchased anymore. Huge Cockroach in bathroom Saturday night. We come to Brownwood often but last stay here.

Nothing that would blow you away but nice, clean hotel at a fair price. Staff was very nice and hot breakfast a bonus. Dining area was well attending and kept clean. Bed sheets and pillow above average for hotel stays and at lease on part with Marriott and Hilton hotels. AC cycled on & off too much on the auto setting we used. Only one small elevator but adequate and hotel was full. I would stay here again.

Nice stay in Brownwood
The hotel is an older establishment, but it is very well kept. From check in to check out everything was wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was very good. The breakfast had several options including bacon and eggs.

Comfort inn with mildew rooms
The room smelled like mildew so I asked the front desk to change rooms she move me to the 3rd floor same smell wilts the air blasting. Did they clean the carpet and let it let it mildew. Who knows but I will not be back in this Lifetime on Earth.
