Mountain Hollow - Hot Tub

"Cabin was very clean, and check in was easy. I found the location to feel private and peaceful, but we were only a few minutes from town. I slept in the upstairs bedroom and my bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows.There was good water pressure and lots of hot water for everyone to shower. We had a problem with the microwave and the rental company brought us a new on the 3rd day. They were quite responsive and friendly when we communicated with them.If you are not used to driving on mountain roads beware the drive way is quite steep and a bit difficult to navigate if you are seeing for the first time in the dark. Follow the directions they give you and not the GPS. Google makes up roads that are not there. We did have to buy dishwasher tabs and a few extra towels as there were not enough provided. The view is a bit grown up and you can only see bell mountain from one corner of the porch. FYI the 2nd bedroom in the basement did not have a door so we hung up a sheet for privacy. If you have difficulty with stairs this might not be the best cabin for you. Overall I found our stay quite comfortable and we had a wonderful vacation."

"Lovely place. Everything was very clean and amazing. The location was perfect. Not far away from the town but far enough out where you are not around a bunch of people. Having breakfast on the porch listing to the water and enjoying the outdoors was part of our favorite part. The King bed Master is upstairs and was to soft for us. We are on the heavier side so my Husband slept on main floor in the bottom bunk as that bed was more firm for his back. This was the perfect place for us to enjoy his Birthday."

"We absolutely loved our stay! This was a last minute trip before our kids start school. Our son loves to fish and he caught a good many in the pond. The little paddle boat was an added bonus of fun. The sound of the creek and panning for gold was fun for my daughter and I. I always travel with kitchen supplies, but that was not needed here. Plenty of spices, coffee filters, and pots and pans. There was also a welcome basket with smores supplies on arrival which was such a nice surprise. Our kids have already asked to go back. Highly recommend!"

"What a beautiful mountain setting at the Nantahala treehouse! The sunsets did not disappoint! We had a lovely stay! It fit our family of 7 perfectly and we enjoyed all of the amenities! We had home cooked meals and fireside chats a few nights and we made fabulous memories, including our rafting trips, tubing and the coaster in Helen! We wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you for letting us make it our home for a week!The host was great and she answered our questions in a timely manner!"

"We loved our experience. The mirror fell off the wall in the downstairs bathroom and we contacted property management but didn’t really hear back. It looked like the wire on the back of the mirror, which was very heavy, broke."
