"We spent 5 wonderful nights at Woodland Waters Hideaway (7 adults, 1 three year old). We found the house to be clean when we arrived and as described online. It was actually way more spacious than the photos online made it appear, so that was a pleasant surprise. We took all our food and drinks with us and had plenty of fridge and freezer space for our cold stuff. We cooked breakfast and dinner there each day and had everything we needed. We’re not very high maintenance people and found sufficient tools to get the job done. However, the kitchen utensils could use some updating (hand can opener didn’t work, not enough steak knives for everyone, 1 measuring cup and 1 measuring spoon, some really old utensils that need to be tossed) and the gas grill is in bad shape. None of this was a huge issue for us, but I know the cooking situation is important to some people. The dock is awesome! It has a sturdy ladder for getting in/out of the water in this very quiet area of the lake. Communication with the rental company was excellent. The dryer didn’t work when we tried to use it. It was reported and they had someone out there within 24 hours to look at it. It could not be repaired, but at least they sent someone out to assess the situation. The last night there, we had to kill a copperhead on the carport who wasn’t giving up his ground. It was a good reminder that wildlife is very present in the area. My family all agreed we had a great stay and would definitely vacation here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was adorable and just what we were looking for. Had all the amenities of a home. If you’re looking for something that resembles a fancy five star hotel, then this isn’t the place for you. We were traveling with dogs and kids and just wanted somewhere cozy that we felt comfortable. This was perfect for us! Nice big back deck with a beautiful view! The walk to the lake was a little steep, but the dock was nice and big and the kids LOVED jumping off and swimming with the beautiful mountains in the background! Would definitely stay again! "

"The cottage was exactly as described. Great location. Clean. Well stocked. Everything you could need in the kitchen is provided. If you have a favorite pan or knife bring it along. Morning coffee on the screened porch. Afternoons on the lake or nearby golf courses. Evenings playing games, or pool, enjoying movies and the fire pit. The cottage layout was great for our group of 5 adults. Kids would definitely enjoy the basement. Remote work was a breeze. Wish we had time for the kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be returning."

"I can’t say enough good things about Red Bird Ridge tiny house. It appears shiny new, wonderfully clean, and so well appointed. For the record - it’s tiny! But the screened in porch makes up for that. This gorgeous wrap around porch has so much seating and dining area, we really only used the interior for sleeping. And the beds were very comfortable. Loved the huge gas grill. The view from the porch is beautiful, like you’re sitting right on the edge of the lake. We rented a boat and used the dock for boating as well as fishing. The complimentary s’mores, camp fire supplies and bottle of wine from a local winery were icing on the cake. We will be back and recommend to all our friends. (Note, comfortably slept family of 4 for the weekend)."
