"The property is just outside of town. It is a perfect little getaway to just get away and relax or just unwind. I highly recommend staying here at this hidden gem. More of a couples place but families welcomed."

"This Hacienda is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning, so much to see and explore. The little casita rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were wonderful. We stayed here as a family of four and can’t wait to return. Next time we would bring our own food as there’s a kitchen in the Casita, and the restaurant is only opened for breakfast which we didn’t know. Everything was wonderful. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, and a time to relax in gorgeous surroundings...

"Hotel X'Kanlol is a pleasant surprise - unassuming yet has the goods. It's a few minutes walk from the main plaza, and is situated near a bus terminal. Its facade and reception area are basic. The room, however, is rightfully what awaits one's attention. The layout is also simple, yet carefully thought out to provide space, function, comfort, and a beautiful ambience. The property is well maintained and kept clean. "

"This is a very charming, new-looking bed and breakfast just a few minutes' drive outside Izamal. Our cabin was very nice, clean, and quiet with good AC. Good communication with the owner, who is also very good with English. Breakfast is flexible, with good menu options available ordered the night before for a specific time. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling by car looking to stay in the area."

"This property is beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. I like that it was quiet. It isn’t near downtown Izamal but cabs are cheap about 250 pesos. Only 10 bedrooms available. My two complaints dinner was very slow. Took over an hour. I wish they would have brought our appetizer and drinks first but they brought everything at once. Second complaint there is only outdoor eating unless you decide to eat in your room in the dining area there were a lot of flies. I understand we were outdoors but it drove me crazy. But seriously don’t let that stop you from going that’s how beautiful this place is! "

"This was an excellent hotel that was pristine! The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water was the best in Mexico! The pool was clean and inviting as are the grounds. It was tranquil and close enough to town for an easy walk or ride to the center. There were even bikes to use. Definitely recommend!"
