"Wow! The photos don't do the place justice, its amazing! The communication and access are easy, on arrival a lady showed me the place, there's a set of 4 or 5 together which are seperate from the tourers etc. Theres nothing you don't need inside, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster etc and all top branded quality stuff. The units are very new and modern and have been decorated to the highest standard. The views are to die for and its a few minutes drive into Forfar. Cant wait to use...

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"The booking process was awful 3 websites and 1.5 hours on the phone to get our payment accepted. However, once in Edzell, we were more than happy with the welcome and friendliness shown by Alan. The house was exactly as stated. It suited us perfectly; was comfortable, spacious in bedroom and sitting room; lovely bathroom etc We would certainly recommend it. The local area was also beautiful and wonderful for cycling."

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (15)
"Complete peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, right next to small river and surrounded by beautiful woodland and hills. The cottage is very characterful with low ceilings, a wood burner and quirky features. Lots to explore and the neighbouring valley is well worth a visit. Don’t expect luxury, it is very much an old cottage which could do with some TLC , but if you want to escape it all, it is a perfect spot."

"Lovely little property in the heart of rural Scotland: however, the property hadn't been cleaned or the beds changed prior to our arrival! We contacted the owner who informed us a cleaner would be with us by 10am the following day. We arrived at the property at 8pm on a Sunday night, after a five hour drive and spent the next two hours cleaning the kitchen and bathroom but still had no beds to sleep in so the sofa had to do for the first night. The cleaner did arrive the following day and did a...
