Family-Friendly Lakefront Nature Retreat on Big Evans All Sports Lake w/Dock
10/10 Excellent
"We were a group of 4 couples and 2 toddlers (8 adults and 2 toddlers) and had an amazing time at Sue and Bob's lakehouse cottage. The home was well maintained and clean inside with plenty of towels, bed sheets, dishes, pillows and board games/cards. We mostly spent our time outdoors and used the kayaks, the paddle boat and had 2 of our own inflatable floats/boats. We loved the fact they had extra life jackets and vests although we brought a few of our own especially for the little ones because sizing is always an issue, most of the vests were bigger for adults from medium to XXL and then about 4 youth vests. We brought our own fishing rods too but there was I think 3 extra adult ones and 3 kids ones, which 1 of our toddler used. We enjoyed the lake and outdoors a lot, nice view from the deck and the fireplace at night. The kitchen had mostly plastic dishes but we found the glass dishes in the bedroom closet closest to kitchen and used those to warm food. Basic condiments such as salt and pepper was there but bring ketchup, oil, and chili flakes if needed. Some of us from Canada used water bottles for drinking water as we found the tap water a bit different. All in all we had a great experience and had minimum communication with hosts as we had no problems at all. We would definitely recommend this place if anyone is travelling this way!"

"Property was just as described. We loved our stay there. We were dropping our daughter to CMU and it was the perfect place to stay in the meantime. Host were amazing and keep in touch great. They help us get wood and had an amazing fire outside and even got us the fixing for s’mores. Thank you Molly. This place was the perfect fix for the soul. Thank you!!"

Cozy Canadian Lakes Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"Great property. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the indoor pool. We ran out of time to play Pickle ball. There is a very nice public beach near by and good restaurants."
Grays Riverside Camp Cabin 1.
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed the property and the cabin was nice. Sharing one bathroom was a challenge since that was the only room with a mirror. An extra mirror would be helpful in the bedrooms. Lots of fun things for kids to do. Owner was quick to respond when we ran out of supplies."
Yurt at Gray’s Riverside Camp
10/10 Excellent
"Gray's Riverside Camp is beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing, it's the perfect place for you and your family to get back in touch with nature. The Yurt is cute and whimsical. Very clean space and perfect for couples looking for a little weekend get away to connect and deepen your bond. Angie is a wonderful host her story about the camp is heart warming. Make sure to check out the little store! Angie's daughters home made pickles in are delicious I highly recommend buying a jar or three. The cafeteria building is a nice facility with clean bathrooms and shower the water is super clean. The cafeteria also has alot for kids to do from air hockey, board games, and ping pong table. There is also a zip line and play area to keep kids busy. We did the 2hr kayaking trip and had alot of fun doing it! The cabins are breathtaking when you walk into them you can tell there has been alot of love put into them. We will 100% be coming back and making this one of our new regular places to visit."
