"The Marriott Stellaris got it right where it counts. The rooms are clean, modern, and actually feel like the luxury experience you’re paying for. Service was excellent throughout our stay, and the location is quieter than the busier strip area, which made a big difference in overall feel and relaxation. For the price, the value was hard to beat. Everything from check-in to the room itself felt polished and well maintained. The only area where it falls short is the pool and beach not quite as impressive as some neighboring resorts. But honestly, that’s a minor trade off given how strong everything else is. If you want a resort where the room matches the promise, this is it."

" The Hyatt wins on atmosphere, the grounds, pool, and beach are stunning and clearly a step above the Marriott Stellaris where I stayed the week before. The outdoor experience alone feels worth it, and the common areas carry that same upscale energy throughout. But the rooms don’t match. The bathroom is outdated and the lighting is dim throughout, which kills the luxury feel the moment you walk in. For what I paid expecting an upgrade from the Marriott Stellaris, the room itself was a disappointment. The Marriott actually felt more polished inside. A little disappointed on the “resort and ocean view” your view is really other building resorts and would need to lean out over the ledge to see the ocean. Also worth noting: the Hyatt is located near the strip, so if you enjoy being close to restaurants, nightlife, and activity, you’ll love it. Personally, I prefer peace and quiet, and the busier surroundings weren’t really my thing. Everything surrounding the room earns 5 stars. Renovate the rooms to match and this place is easily one of the best resorts on the island. Staff is great and super helpful! "

"From the moment we arrived, the resort impressed us with its pristine condition. The entire property—from the manicured grounds to the modern architecture of the main buildings—is meticulously maintained, reflecting a high standard of care that extends to the surrounding area. The hallmark of our stay, however, was the staff. Their welcoming demeanor and professional attentiveness created an immediately inviting atmosphere. We found the culinary offerings to be consistently excellent, whether dining at the formal restaurants or enjoying a more casual experience at the bar. A particular highlight was the service at the main sports bar; Damon was exceptionally attentive and provided a level of engaging service that truly enhanced our evenings. After exploring the island, the on-site spa offered a tranquil sanctuary. The therapists were skilled and professional, ensuring a restorative experience that was well worth the time. Additionally, the convenience of the on-site concierge made arranging local tours and excursions seamless. We are already looking forward to our return visit"

"The Riu Antillas was absolutely amazing. The scenery and location was perfect. The service was great. I got the Jr. Sunset Suite that had a beautiful view of the ocean and we saw a few Aruba sunsets. Overall the experience was fantastic and can't wait to go back!"

"Cheapest big hotel available in St Marten but a bit dark and depressing. Staff seemed very different and less well trained than in a normal Hilton. Only one small restaurant and bar with limited choice. "
