Upon check in the lady was very friendly. Our room was very very hot. Miserable to try to sleep. The baby needed some milk and the guy at the bar gave us a dirty glass with milk in it. It was stuck on the inside of the glass so the baby had no milk. Upon check out a different lady assisted us. She asked how our stay was yet did not seem to care at all. Not even apologizing about the room being so unbearably hot and argued with us that the dirty spots all in the milk was part of the glass. Which it was not. There are plenty of other nice hotels around so I would not recommend this one. We were traveling with the baby and apparently there are only certain times you can access the spa areas with little ones. We came in too late and missed the short window of time then the next morning had to get up and leave before the next short window where we could have even gone so they do make it hard to even get to utilize the spa and you don’t realize this when booking.

Refreshing stop over
Nice modern hotel in a surprising rural setting. Bedroom and bathroom both spacious and nicely furnished (with bath and separate shower). Good restaurant and extensive breakfast selection (gravadlax and cheese board were highlights). Great to have use of the swimming pool.

A place to be
Is the third time we stay in that hotel. Everything is perfect. Breakfast buffet was managed to avoid any possible contamination while keeping a large choice. Rooms cleaned every day.Reception and fast gentle no issues. Dont forget the possibilities in the area walkin, kayak and more. Visit Durbuy at walking distance.

Lacking in the Spa section
Modern style hotel that seems geared towards groups or events. We booked primarily due to a spa section. However this was partially out of order and small things like towels in the pool area was not provided. Overall it felt rather lacking in terms of service and standard.

Good holiday in Ardennes.
Good place to stay without a car as not far from station and good walks from hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. They moved us without a problem when noisy building work started nearby. Food ok but a bit overpriced. Book in town as gets busy.

Comfort hotel in adventurous Durbuy area
Nice hotel near the adventure capital of Belgium, Durbuy! Spacious rooms and fun pool and spa area. The neighbourhood is full of adventures in nature. Enjoy your stay!

Great hotel!
Very smart hotel rooms are of a good size and very modern the hotel setting is so relaxing love the wellness centre and the indoor pool The food in the restaurant was fantastic We stayed in this hotel as it was ideal for our visit to the F1

Upscale 4 stars hotel. Very clean, rooms are big with aircon, fridge, dryer., safe. Staff is friendly and polite . Hotel itself is in a beautiful area, surrounded by green but close to town. Lots of activities around. Swimming pool and, jacuzzi and sauna included. The hotel would appeal to any category, couples or families with children. Food is excellent. Price is fair and you get a lot for the money. Perfect holiday.

A good hotel with uneven service
This is a cool hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent food in a beautiful setting, but with an uneven level of service which detracted from the overall experience.

Nice Pool, great spa. Room for myself, my wife and 15 year old daughter. just make sure that you let the counter staff know that your child is not an infant if a teenager. Hotels.com did not pass this information on to the hotel

Great hotel, everything looked very new. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. The area is beautiful too. We were travelling to the Belgian GP and it was about 50 mins drive.

Should be so much better
When you book a 4* hotel you expect the service to meet the rating, but at the Azur en Ardennes this is not the case (in our experience anyway). No towels on arrival, the shampoo dispenser empty for two days, the beds not made, cleaning not thorough (found a room card under a chair from a week ago). The restaurant service was no better, ages to bring drinks and take the order, plates from the main course left in front of us for AN HOUR, no dessert menu offered. The food we had was good though. However through all this shone a ray of light; the lady on the front desk, who singlehandedly was fixing the problems, keeping everything under control and organising just about everything. This hotel should be receiving high scores and others have given it a 5 rating, the management needs to get a grip of its staff as they are do not offer the standard of service expected. I provided feedback on check out, so the concerns we had are known to the hotel. Will it change? Based on other reviews I've seen from the last 12 months, I fear not, which is a shame because the ingredients for a fabulous hotel are all there.

Student accomodation with great swimming pool
The hotel is set in a fantastic location with a great swimming pool and fantastic views. However, the accomodation is very basic with a pool table right next to the bedrooms which means you hear the balls smash against each other all night - well 2am at least which is when I finally managed to sleep. On the first night I ordered rack of lamb from the restaurant which took two hours to arrive. When it did finally arrive I could see that it had been cooked for that entire time. It wasn't pink inside it was mushy brown - they had stewed it. It was the worst meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant.

Probably a nice hotel in winter...
Room temperature unbearable. After some days of hot weather, it was painful the idea of returning to the hotel where it was impossible to cool the room down, despite the fact that it was raining and outside temperature was below 20 Celsius... This spoiled our holidays despite the good atmosphere in general.

Excellent Hotel
I booked this as accommodation for the August bank holiday weekend as we were going to the Grand Prix. At the time I booked it it was the closest available accommodation, so I was a little concerned, however upon arrival realised it was all going to be ok. I have given them 4 for a couple of reasons, if you are used to the added extras (shampoos/ body lotions etc, hair dryer) in your room you may miss them, but other than that it was great. Everything else you could possible want free wifi, comfortable bed, very clean and superb service. I was really very impressed, especially the staff who were fantastic literally nothing was an issue for them, the food was very good, the gin and tonics were about the best I have ever had, but the service was without question the best I have experienced in a long time - Cedric in the restaurant was simply wonderful!! Will be back!

Chouette endroit pour se reposer
L’hôtel est très agréable. Dans un écrin de verdure, cela fait du bien. Les plats sont un peu chers et l’insonorisation des salles de bain est mauvaise. Le spa est top et la piscine très chouette.

Het hotel ligt op een goede plek om de Ardennen te kunnen ontdekken. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en bestond uit veel opties. Het diner viel daarentegen wat tegen, daar er maar weinig vegetarische keuzes waren. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en meertalig. De wellness is een fijne plek om even tot rust te komen. Kortom een zeer aan te bevelen plek voor een paar heerlijke dagen weg!

Onbeschoft personeel bij de bar. Wat denk ie wel zeg. Aangegeven bij t uitchecken maar werd laconiek op gereageerd!! Waardeloos. Kamer rook naar natte hond en schoonmaken is ook n vak! Jammer!!

Positieve commentaar over de vriendelijkheid van ons personeel komen echter zeer regelmatig voor... Onze collega's bij de receptie waren zeker verrast door uw opmerking, want het is zeer zeldzaam om iets negatiefs te horen over leden van ons team...We hebben ook uw opmerking over de schoonmaak doorgegeven aan onze housekeeping manager. Houd er rekening mee dat honden niet zijn toegestaan in ons hotel...Wij verontschuldigen ons voor het ongemak maar de genoemde opmerkingen zijn zeker geen gemeengoed in ons hotel.Met vriendelijke groeten.
