"Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Very quiet and picturesque location. Excellent breakfast and spa. Only slight negative is we upgraded to a Deluxe room and I would suggest it was average rather than deluxe."
"Beaitiful castle in a stunning setting. The rhododendrons were all in bloom and there are magical walks along the paths through the grounds to the nearby island. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with fresh local produce. Staff were all lovely to us and we had a really special weekend. "
"Amazing stay at Cameron House. We were given a room upgrade to a suite on arrival and had wonderful views over the loch. Have always loved staying here in the past but hadn’t visited since the reopening. We were thrilled to be back and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine all weekend too. "
"Had a great stay but the set up for using spa area and pool is very poor for hotel guests , been going here for 5 years now and always enjoyed using hot tub etc now it’s 2 hr slots
Had to book spa day and when time was up tried to pay for another 2 hrs but told fully booked even though place only had 12 people using , will find new place to go next year as only good for 1 night now unless u wish to pay extra £300 for spa day "
Buchanan Arms Hotel & Leisure, Sure Hotel Collection
6/10 Okay
"Went for two nights. Room was ok. TV was left on and remote didn't work at all. We had to ask about 4 times for bath towels. Also key card apparently get erased when closed to the phone which is ok but someone could tell us earlier to save me 5 trips to reception and 5th time lady seem very annoyed about it. Breakfast were just mediocre as everything was cold, not even warm, cold. And if you are vegetarian I hope you like boxed cereal. But building was very nice, warm with loads of characters. Leisure centre was excellent, nice pool, sauna and steam room with possibility to play squash or table tennis. Diner was tasty and reasonable priced as well. Would we rush back? Probably not. Would we recommend? Hmmm..."
