"Location perfect for a first time visit to Edinburgh as so close to many historical sites and lots of restaurants and shops. We stayed at beginning and end of our trip.our 4th floor room more spacious than the room we had on the 3rd floor.Both were clean. We did not eat but did enjoy a drink at the bar one evening with a friendly crowd."

"This is a great property with great things to do. I know it’s very historic but I think it is getting close to needing a restoration. Our washroom had many things just hanging on for dear life. The beds aren’t the most comfortable and there can be a bit of a musty smell. I understand all these things come with time, but that’s why I have gone 4 star over 5"

"The staff was amazing! They were so helpful in making arrangements for an amazing driver to St Andrew’s (James) for us. Carlos and everyone at the hotel was very helpful in getting us cars, making reservations and recommendations that were all spot on! The location was awesome as well as our room and all the amenities. Loved our stay!"
