"The hotel seems to be having some work , I paid extra for an upgrade …. Don’t bother
The rooms are a bit tired and the bathroom tiny
Location great because we needed parking - although paying extra for parking is a bit much if I’m staying at your hotel - so we went to Edinburgh for food, bus stop to the centre right outside the hotel so very convenient instead of a bus - the hotel staff that we encountered were all really friendly and knowledgable "
"Myself and my friend stayed on Friday 21st March for one night . We love coming to the Dakota to get away for a nice break and catch up. As always from the minute we checked in it was superb. Chloe who checked us in was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Our Deluxe Suite was perfection and had everything you could ever need with the most beautiful view overlooking the water and bridges. Our room service food was delicious . When we checked out this morning , I did not get the kind woman’s name but also a credit to the Dakota Hotel. It is so nice going somewhere with excellent customer service and this is why we don’t go anywhere else for our little getaways / break away from life cause the Dakota Hotel always go above and beyond for you . Thank you Chloe for the lovely warm welcome and to everyone else , all the staff here are a credit to the Dakota . Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you for giving us the best time again. "
