"Fantastic stay at Voco Edinburgh Royal Terrace! Top was the staff, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good, we got a la carte, and the staff were generous to give us fruit from the buffet free of charge. The room was great, comfortable, got a nice little welcome basket with snacks, coffee and tea service. The beds were excellent. Room slippers would be the icing on the cake.;) Will definitely be back!"
"Enjoyed the property especially the pool.enjoyed the nearby restaurants and the fish and chips. Enjoyed the view of the Castle and also Craigmillar Castle nearby. Access to the bus station and train station was an advantage."
"Service was excellent. Clean shower functioning elevators were a treat. The restaurant provided wonderful meals the provided tea and milk made a great treat at the end of the day.The tv problem was attended to promptly. All very well done!"
"Apex always seems good value for money. It is in a very convenient, albeit crowded location, but our room was very comfortable and quiet. Very near all you want to see in Edinburgh. There is a tunnel at bottom floor that gives you an easier access to the train station...much better than fighting the hordes on the main street. Did not use any of their amenities as we were only in the city a short time, but would definitely recommend."
"Convenient location, newer, hotel, excellent Aircon, laundry facilities, small market next to reception for last minute sundries, and TWO WORKING LIFTS! The only con, if I have to give one, is the Murphy bed is a little noisy while trying to sleep. Even though the hotel is located on the Royal Mile, we didn’t find the road noise all that bothersome."
"Almost brand new, everything was clean and comfortable. Located a bit out of town centre so car was handy as no dining options nearby. We ate in the restaurant, food was good but they don’t have their liquor licence yet so we weren’t able to have a drink (other than soft drink) with our meal. Staff friendly and helpful enough."
"Really enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately the lift was out of order but the staff were really helpful in bringing our cases up and down the stairs! Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was great. Would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to other friends and family. Interesting historical background too."
