Cozy house with a panoramic view of Lake Superior. Enjoy overlooks of the Aerial Lift Bridge, downtown Duluth and ships in the harbor.

The front deck features a panoramic view and the side yard has a scenic view with a sitting area along with a fire pit. The back yard has a lovely grotto with seasonal gardens.

Gourmet kitchen, with many extra cooking accessories and features:
JennAir dual fuel cooking range (gas range and electric oven)
Subzero refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher
LeCreuset and cast iron pots & pans

The kitchen, dining & living room are combined in an open space, the master bedroom and living room have spectacular views.

Linda’s house was the perfect spot for three of us to enjoy a girls’ getaway. The views overlooking the harbor were spectacular-far better than what you’d have from a hotel down in Canal Park. The house was so cozy and eclectic. Each day we’d exclaim over some new piece of art we’d discover! Linda was very accommodating and easy to work with. We’d highly recommend a stay at the red house on the hill!

This was a wonderful place to stay in Duluth. So close to the harbor and downtown, yet in a neighborhood. It had everything we needed and more, and our host was always in contact in case we needed anything, which we didn't! Although it was close to a busy road, the windows were well insulated so we slept soundly with minimal road noise, and we are light sleepers. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was super nice and very well equipped with anything we might imagine we might need. And the art throughout the home was so incredible! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Cozy cottage on the hill

What a warm and inviting place. We stayed and there happened to be fresh snow. Sitting in the libing toom with the wood burning stove overlooking Duluth was so nice!

Weekend getaway

We really enjoyed staying in a different part of Duluth, and the house is a perfect spot to access other parts of the city. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked and the decor promotes local artists - thank you Linda!

The Red House

This was our second time staying at the red house and it was just as wonderful as the first. Our favorite things about the house are the views, the cozy wood stove, and it's location; close to our favorite places to go. Linda is a fantastic host!

Red House Fun

Great stay in a great house. All the features listed in VRBO were found in the house and worked great. Wonderful art. Super view of the Duluth Harbor. Could not have asked for a nicer place to spend Christmas with my family. Will stay there again.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The only wish I had was a little more space in the kitchen area so we could have played games around the table. But it was perfect for a quick two night stay with a great view.

Art filled house

Wonderful house with superior views

It’s a beautifully decorated house - a gem with superior views of the lake and the city. The house was immaculately clean. Cosy bedrooms, fully stacked kitchen, wood fireplace, close to restaurants, neighborhood shopping, and Canal Park. The host, Linda, was very attentive and hospitable. I highly recommend the Red House on the Hill!

Perfect!!

Great house on the hill

Wonderful house and manager. Very clean and lots of fun artwork. Had everything we needed and the cookies were much appreciated. The VIEWS!!!

What a place! This location was great while visiting our daughter at UMD for parents weekend. Quick drive to all areas, Canal Park, Lincoln Park area, and campus. Beyond Wonderful!!!!

The 1st thing you notice upon entering the house is the stunning view from the front window. As we settled in we were struck by the attention Linda gives to every detail. Very high quality furnishings, everything from the kitchen utensils, bedding, plush towels, furniture, etc. were top notch. We love to cook and absolutely nothing was lacking to prepare wonderful meals. Linda provided other very thoughtful personal touches that showed she cares deeply about your experience at her house. I will try to stay there anytime in I am in Duluth.
