"The room and staff were great. But construction was ongoing so there was no kitchen area or breakfast available. Still a good place to stay with modern rooms."

"Amazing location and wonderful nice staff! The private room quarters are separate from the main hostel. Lots of stairs, like a lot!! Bathrooms were decent, hot water did not last longer than 5mins and the bathroom counter had ants, I was only there for 2 nights so I could overlook those things. Would stay again for the price."

"I should start by noting that Hotel Kompas is not in old town as we were with some people who did not understand how big and spread-out Dubrovnik is. With that said, our stay at Hotel Kompas came at just the right time in our trip. We were tired when we arrived here and this was the perfect place to recharge. Situated on a cliff with direct access to the bay, it is really impressive. You enter on the top floor and everything else moves down the hill toward the bay. The views are really beautiful. We had a room with a balcony and could not get enough of the views. The amenities were also excellent. If you want drinks and food with a view, they have multiple choices. If you want to lounge in the pool, it overlooks the bay. If you want spa amenities, there is a sauna, steam room, indoor pool, etc. The staff is really friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable. It was a great stay."
"Hotel Lero was the best spot for our trip to Dubrovnik. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and welcoming. The morning breakfast was amazing! They had a daily variety of food. It was the perfect way to start our day. We were very happy with our stay here."
"This property was perfect for our summer vacation in Dubrovnik. The location on the point was perfect, the food was really delicious and there were so many selections on the lunch and beach menu which even with 5 nights there, we couldn’t try everything. We stayed in their V level which allowed us to eat at Momenti Restaurant for breakfast, included transfers to the airport, had a separate beach and pool location, concierge counter, V level lounge with great snacks and happy hour, etc. Some of the concierges like Bruna and Dora were very accommodating and had great recommendations and the servers in the restaurant and Ruda Lounge, Ivan and Vedran were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for our family. The hotel is about a $12 Uber to Old Town and took about 10 min which was easy. The views of the Adriatic were unreal and the sunsets there were perfect. I would highly recommend this property."
"The hotel sits alongside other Valamar Hotels and has regular city bus to take you to the old city. The parking is 5 min car drive and the hotel offers a buggy service to pick up and drop. The hotel boasts 3 pools and two restaurants, a bar, spa, gym, indoor pool and a library with TV, where we watched the football World Cup. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff and concierge are helpful. We booked a Bosnia trip via the hotel concierge and received a packed breakfast in the morning for the trip. One can use the beach via the Valamar President hotel with towels and beds hire for €25 (July 2026) for two, which is much cheaper than at other beaches in the area. Breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of food & drinks to cater to everyone. The area also has 3 other Valamar hotels and a small arcade with restaurants, shops, laundry and play areas for kids. There's not much to add to the hotel except better toiletries (no conditioner in the bathroom) or perhaps an iron. We had a really amazing stay at the hotel, and the stay felt special."
