What an absolutely beautiful and quirky little hotel. The staff were lovely, the rooms were gorgeous, and the breakfast was great. A delightful little hotel, tucked in out of the way, but so conveniently situated. Look forward to staying there again!

Love the property. Small and welcoming. The only downside, there is no air and the room was quite warm; we had difficulty sleeping as the room was hot. We had to keep the windows open for air which then made it noisy.

Tucked back off the street, you feel secluded from the hustle of the city. Safe, quiet, stylish, very comfortable beds, gourmet breakfast, amazing property with attention to every detail, kind and welcoming staff… you can’t go wrong! Would return here for sure if back in Dublin.

Hidden gem

We stayed for one night in December and it was beautiful, a lovely hidden gem. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The building itself is gorgeous with beautiful artwork. It's very comfortable, we would definitely stay again. Thank you very much

Asked for quiet room. Was not quiet. Near front door and bar. Then noise from kitchen staff from early on the next morning. Very disappointing.

This is officially our favorite hotel in Dublin! I was looking for something cute and not a chain and boy did Number 31 deliver. We instantly felt at home and very cosy (the word we both picked immediately). The room, bed and bathroom were just right but the standout part of our stay was the breakfast, which we would absolutely come back for. The staff was warm and accommodating, the building itself is cool with an Austin Powers vibe and we loved the well-stocked “honor” bar. The location is also very convenient to everything we wanted to do and very private/quiet.

Polished gem

We had the perfect room for us. Nice size, simple, clean, nice bathroom. We liked the location as it was close to the entrance. It was a lower price room, but it was perfect. It’s a funky upscale hotel. Our friends had a very different room and suited them perfectly. The four of us love the hotel!

What a sweet little hotel! We were so pleasantly surprised by everything - the generous size of the room, the extraordinarily professional and friendly staff, the delicious made-to-order breakfast, the darling honor bar - all of it! We were especially thankful for how warm and enthusiastic the staff was, and how clearly they seemed to want to make sure we were enjoying Dublin. I would highly recommend No 31 to anyone, I can't imagine anyone not being completely charmed!

Very clean and fresh looking up to date property. Modern design. Will stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Travel to dublin for weekend breaks all the time. Its a bit out side the main shopping centre. But in price it makes up for it .clean and tidy and modern rooms. Really modern and up to date with a out door terrace area for breakfast which is nice in a city centre area that space is hard to come by .will come back here without a doubt. Enjoyed my stay here .

Disappointing

Stayed 1 night, the room was a reasonable size but was up a narrow stairs. The floor was sloping which was fun to balance on. I stumbled and hit my shin on the bed frame stick out from the mattress. The shower door was tight to squeeze through so not good for larger guests. Then overnight it was cold and in the morning I was awoken soon after 6am with pounding up the stairs and talking on the landing. Breakfast was average at best and portion size was small. Overall I was disappointed and would consider it poor value really, I will not be staying again and would not recommend it for larger people with mobility issues.

Highly recommend Number 31! The property is gorgeous —it’s a renovated Georgian property with several original details. The staff is incredible—they gave us great food and sightseeing recommendations and even upgraded our stay on our last night in Dublin so we can see the other side of the hotel. Even the little details in the rooms like the camomile and lavender pillow spay — I know it’s small but I used that spray throughout our 8 day trip through Ireland and could not wait to return and get another! Also, the breakfast is so delicious- the mushroom frittata was my favorite!
