The cabin was nicely set up. Though it sleeps 4, it’s all bunk beds. The train is very nearby. The beach was lovely. The host was lovely.

Very friendly hosts. Great communication prior to arrival. Docking was available with power. Had a great stay and will be back next year. For the comments about the train, we barely noticed it. Thanks for everything Shane

Very nice cabin with everything needed to cook and keep food fresh. It’s cozy with a nice lake view.
More communication with check-in would have been very helpful. It took two phone calls to Expedia to find out how to check-in.
Staying in a cottage on a lake was a real treat compared to the usual highway hotels and motels. A nice deck for happy hour and there is a full kitchen and it was so nice to have a real oven to cook our take-and-bake pizza. We had trouble connecting to WiFi but the friendly host helped us out. The only complaint I have is that the shower head is mounted too high and cannot be adjusted.

Relaxing natural environment, welcoming hostess, fully equipped. Rustic cabin.
Freight train passes at 10 meters from the cabin.
Beware of tap water.
Toilet flush sometimes very slow.
Great space, nice and secluded. Was a great place to spend the night. Train tracks are really close, but it didn’t bother us. My son likes the chicken coop.
The cabin is perfect for a week's getaway for up to four people. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. Comfortable and clean, everything you want and need in a serene setting. Bring a canoe and a fishing rod and you're in heaven.
This was everything it said it was. Had everything a person needed the lake was beautiful. The communication with Shane was great. Would stay again and definitely recommend this place.
My family and I had a great time while staying on the property. Shane was great and was there to help in any way he could. I would recommend this property and would definitely come back!
We stayed for one night on our way to Napanee. Cottage was so cute and quiet. We actually both slept in later than usual which is unusual on our trips. Thank you and will definitely stop again

Very rustic property, close to the lake but no real views or access to the lake. You can forgive a lot if you have a great view, but there is no lake view and the property needs a little love.
The cabin accommodated 3 of us but we were surprised with the bunk beds scenario. Beds were comfortable though.
Toilet was a bit finicky; didn't flush well. All rest worked really well!!
I enjoyed the cute cabin and it was clean. Bunk bed had a comfortable mattress and i had a good sleep. The deck boards were soft in places and the deck stairs were very narrow for my elderly Mother to walk up and down. The inside living room chair was also broken. Beautiful lake view and the kitchen was very accommodating. Nice stove, fridge, drinking water, toaster etc. nice hosts also. I would stay again without my Mother. Not for older seniors. Lots of room.

Cabin was fine. Everything you need is provided. Beach needed to be cleaned up. Train track 25’ away from cabin.
Cozy cabin on the lake, in the heart is sunset country!
Shane and Lisa were fantastic hosts! Shane was quick to communicate check in/out procedures, and promptly answered any questions I had during my stay.
When arriving at the camp, be aware of the train crossing. However, don’t let that concern you...because once you’ve settled in & hear the loons calling, or lay on the dock and look up at the stars, then it will more then make up for the chugging of a train going by!
This cabin had all the amenities for extended stays, and boasted a beautiful spacious outdoor area for hiking and/or exploring with kayaks!
If you are looking for a private cabin to fish with friends, or just a peaceful place to rejuvenate, I highly recommend staying here.
I emailed and messaged the property owner several times in the days leading up to my stay with no response. The property owner then cancelled my stay the day I was supposed to get there. Saying the property was not ready and that they were away and not checking emails
Found a perfect little cabin to rent for a snowmobile trip. Host canceled rental the morning of our trip. Drove by the location no one has been there all winter. Very disappointed.
