"We had a gathering of four different couples, and we had more than enough room & extra beds/floor space in the loft for the kids if you needed it. Plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of space to gather. The location was serene, tucked back in a beautiful valley. Close to Lansing and yellow river forest and a short drive to beautiful Decorah. There is so much to see and do here! We enjoyed an afternoon at the tiki bar in Lansing and an afternoon in Decorah. Then coming home to play games & chill. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. There was plenty of cooking supplies- we made several meals. And lots of towels, blankets. A very clean & well kept property. The little cabin next door is great, too!"
SereniTree Cabin - Modern Rustic Getaway tucked in the trees
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing location. Although there were neighbors across the street, it felt very isolated. The house was very clean and had thoughtful amenities. The wildlife was so good. Deer wandering through the yard every day, and a robin had built a nest on the deck railing. It truly felt like living in the woods."
"We stayed at Eagle’s Nest from May 1–3 and had a very relaxing getaway overall. The cabin is in a remote-feeling location with beautiful views of the Mississippi River, which you can enjoy right from the hot tub—easily the highlight of our stay. Sitting in the tub watching trains pass and the bridge in the distance was a unique and peaceful experience. The property was clean on arrival and generally well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals, and the living spaces felt cozy with plenty of seating and board games to enjoy. The separate apartment above the garage was also a nice, comfortable space. The bed was comfortable, and while the shower pressure was a bit low, there was reliable hot water and enough towels provided. The driveway is also quite steep, and the cabin sits right off the highway, which is something to be aware of when arriving.Host communication was solid—Gabby was easy to reach via phone/text and responsive when we needed check-in codes. She also kindly allowed a slightly late checkout, which we appreciated.Overall, this is a spacious, cozy cabin with great views—well suited for couples, families, or anyone looking for a quiet retreat."
