Beautiful raised ranch home in the country on 7+ acres of lawn, woods, and fields. Upper level has hardwood floors, large open concept kitchen living room area with patio door to a 12'x24' deck, master bed w/bath, two additional bedrooms and full bathroom. The walk out lower level has a large main room with sofa bed and kitchenette, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a single car garage . Large windows in every room to enjoy the marvelous views. Only 8 miles south of Interstate 90 at Tomah, WI, and 3 miles north of Wilton WI (heart of the Elroy/Sparta bike trail). Canoeing on the Kickapoo in Ontario WI is 11 miles away, as well as Amish shops to explore. Forty-five minutes away from The Dells (to the South) and La Crosse, WI and the Mississippi river (to the West). Only 20 miles to Ft. McCoy with skiing, tubing and snowboarding available. Or bring your own sleds and enjoy the hill directly in front of the house (the house faces the driveway, not the road).

We would absolutely stay here again! Loved sitting out on the porch or by the fire enjoying all the trees and stars. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, and so much kitchen space!

House was described perfectly in the listing and met all of our needs and more. Everything you would want to be here was available and the internet was great for those who may need it. House is everything you would want in a VRBO home! Lots of room for a very large family if needed. House is very clean and Rose is just down the road if you need anything. Definitely a 5 star and I would book with her again!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay once again at the property. It is a nice midway point for our family travelling from different states. The house and location are great. We love the layout, the furnishings, and the decorations in the home. We appreciate having the Christmas tree up to put our gifts under. Fun was had by all. Our annual Christmas get together

Our family which reside in the Milwaukee, and Minneapolis areas annually rent a house somewhere in between to enjoy the Christmas holiday. We chose the residence in the Wilton area this year for our get together. The host, much to our surprise decorated the home with a Christmas tree and other decorations which really made it a special time for us. The house was very neat and comfortable which also added to our enjoyment.

A great time was had by all

The location is very quiet and peaceful within a very gorgeous landscape. The house is extremely spacious and has plenty of rooms for individuals. We brought extra items with us (ie. Coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper) only to find out that everything needed for an extended stay was cleverly supplied. We're planning a trip a year in advance already just to make sure we can stay at this exact place!

Biker’s weekend

The house and location was beautiful!! We traveled many of the back roads on our Harleys and they were awesome (except all the gravel roads) plent of room at this house for bigger groups… only complaint was the garage wasn’t big enough for all the bikes but it never rained so we were good!! Privacy and space!

This was a great place to stay for our group of four couples. We liked the private location in the country with no visible neighbors. We biked the Elroy-Sparta trail and were able to bike from the property to the trail (about 4 miles on country roads). Very accommodating owner, allowed us to check in early so we could get ready for our bike ride. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking, plenty of towels for everyone, comfy living room furniture, and a great amount of space! Good value for the price. Very minimal checkout requirements, which was nice!

Fun with Friends

This was a perfect fit for our group of 7 people! The property was well maintained and clean. We had enough space to spread out and "party" as much as 50 & 60 year olds do. The kitchen layout works well for shared meals and many games played on the dining room table. The front deck is perfect for napping in Spring Sunshine.The "Amish Walmart" was a fun adventure and we found quite a few good deals. Something to check out if in the area.We will hopefully be back again next spring for our annual get together. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Serene Family Getaway

This place is everything I could hope for in a vacation rental. It was meticulously clean, well stocked, and located in such a quiet and beautiful part of Wisconsin. There was an abundant amount of clean towels and blankets. The house rules and checkout process were minimal unlike other places we have been. And the owner was only a text message away and a real person which is so much better than trying to communicate with a third party house managing service. Our family came for the purpose of riding the Elroy Sparta trail which was a short five minute drive with Amish farms all along the way.

Great Girl’s Weekend

What a fantastic property! There were 6 of us for a Girl’s weekend and we were very comfortable. The house was beautiful with 5 bedrooms, kitchen and bath well-stocked with everything you could need, and very clean! It is a very remote location which was great for us. It was 45 minutes to LaCrosse which did not bother us, but something visitors should not glaze over in the listing as Rose is sure to note that. This property was even better than we expected. We are already talking about a return visit to the property.

Great Christmas Vacation!

My family and I had a wonderful stay over Christmas 2023. The property is beautiful and quiet. Pictures do not do it justice. The views from the house of rolling hills are stunning. The house is very welcoming and cozy, and we all felt like we were at home. It was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. The kids were happy to find the toy closet! There was a Christmas tree and lit garland inside, and some lights on the outside. The host responded to messages in a friendly and timely fashion. Wifi was adequate for video streaming and staying connected. Overall, Rose does a really nice job hosting and I would definitely recommend this property.
