"Very happy with the service very nice people to deal with"

"We enjoyed the clean room and the pool area. The Havana room we stayed in was advertised as a kitchenette but was not, no sink or way to cook anything. Breakfast and coffee were not available until 8:30 and staff primarily brought in containers of pastries which were no doubt recycled for several days. The pool bar was permanently closed with apparently no plans to reopen. Signs online show it as open. Office is locked at 6 so no way to purchase drinks on site after that time. We would probably stay here again due to its close proximity to DuVall street and it is a nice smaller hotel."

"Very small room, no space for a chair. The floor was sinking in 2 places so the laminate flooring was coming apart. The parking situation is unacceptable, especially when you drive a $90,000 sports car. They want to keep your keys in case they need to move your car. The window a/c worked fine. The decor was pleasant. The continental breakfast was ok. The staff was ok, except with a bit of attitude. Would I ever return? I don’t think so. Sorry guys, but you asked"

"Upon check in - I was informed I needed a CC with $1200.00 available on it - at no point was I instructed of this need - I had paid for my stay prior as I do not use CC - thank goodness some in my party had one to use. The front desk person was not friendly about this = I have read my information from Expedia and nowhere is it stated - nor is it on your resort site. The bar at the pineapple pool was on point - Annette at the front desk was very helpful also. Breakfast at the cafe was well priced and good. My room was also always cleaned - Like i previously said the only complaint would be about the credit card and how the front desk person was not kind or friendly regarding this."

"It was centrally located. I wish the beach was more maintained for being advertised as the largest private beach in all of key west. The staff was helpful, but wasn’t extraordinary. The pools were very nice. The outdoor bar was okay. The gift shop was very nice. The rooms were mostly clean. There was a lot of dust and dirt as well as sand in corners of the room, especially in the bathroom. Room service only came when we called to request which was odd. The Florida Resort tax should’ve been made more clear, as well as the mandatory $800 card hold they charge the tax out of per night."

"My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Inn for 5 nights for his birthday. It's an adult only bed and breakfast on Duval St. in Key West. What a hidden gem! The location is perfect for walking to almost anything you want to do in Key West, and the staff was very helpful and nice. We actually stayed in 2 rooms, and our favorite was room #11, the Gecko Suite. It was large with a king bed and private hot tub. The other room we had was #10 which was smaller but still very cute with its own picket fence patio area next to the pool. This room had a queen bed. Beds in both rooms were very comfortable. This is not a Hilton or Marriott, this is a Victorian, Key West house with lots of character and personality. The pool was excellent, just the right temperature to be refreshing but not freezing at all so I believe it was heated. The best part ...... even though you are on Duval, the noise level is very low once you enter the Tropical Inn. It is like a secret garden when you are by the pool. A couple of our favorite restaurants, Ramshead and Blue Heaven are only a block away when you go out the back gate. Cute, romantic, great pool, wonderful location....we loved it."
