"Was very very disappointed. I had a reservation for Saturday night. I called on Thursday night to cancel due to a family issue that was last minute. I was told they would cancel the reservation but had to charge me the nightly rate because it was too late. I said theres nothing you can do, they told me it was property policy no exceptions. This is the epitome of corporate greed, and shows why the world is in the shape its in. I personally will never stay at another Hampton Inn or Hilton brand hotel ever again. I would rather sleep in my car. The simple fact that they still charged me despite my calling 2 days ahead with a legitimate family issue and them not allowing anything to be done is simply disgusting!!"

"The Clarion Pointe-Dillard Hotel has been the go-to hotel for my family when we visit the area. The hotel is near Black Rock Mountain State Park, at which we enjoy beautiful hikes when we visit. The town of Clayton is close by, in case you close need to do some grocery shopping or experience the conveniences of a larger town. "
